John Edward, creator of johnedward.net, has been part of the psychic and medium community for years. During the early 2000s, he served as producer of the popular television show Crossing Over and has since moved on to operating a web series and community called Evolve. As part of Evolve, he has created Above & Beyond, an online novel series.
Above & Beyond follows protagonist Jack Richman, a successful scientist and writer who is caught in a terrorist attack in Johannesburg, South Africa that is later revealed to have been a simple natural gas explosion. When he awakens, he is in a strange, ethereal hospital that he discovers is on the other side. Jack is dead, and he must come to terms with his death and explore the world on the other side of the barrier between the living and dead.
The novel is only available to members of the johnedward.net community and is not for sale through other online storefronts. It deals with topics such as who accompanies us in the land of the dead, what happens, and where we ultimately go.
